All movie action shots are reduced to 200 x 150 pixels for maximum clarity. The pictures are in chronological order of the movie. Midway is the classic reproduction of the actual "Battle of Midway" which took place on June 5-6, 1944. The great American victory was the turning point in the Pacific Ocean campaign against the Imperial Japanese navy. Though we lost the Yorktown, the United States in return sunk 4 Japanese carriers, crippling any more plans of invasion on American or Australian lands.
