Great site, I love war films and have always been interested in the history of our
country, including the heroes that gave their lives for our freedom and my liberty.

Red Dawn is a very good movie. Gettysburg is one of my favorite
war films to watch. You need some pictures of Saving Private Ryan.

I have to say that this was a good selection of resources for American History.
As a volunteer working on a future veterans museum. I think it is important to preserve
history for future generations. Music and movies are a great way to reach people.

The theme music from the old war movies always reminds me of the men that fought
in the wars to give us the freedom we now enjoy. Let us never forget...

The greatest music about war that I have ever heard. I have been listening to this
since 1952 and I still get the same patroitc feelings as I did then. I am now 61.

Excellent site -- I will return. (Damn, I think someone already said
that -- oh, well). Now you need to add to the movies and songs such classics
as The Enemy Below (which has an excellent German song in it, though it couldn't
be taken straight from the movie), Force 10 From Navarone (which has an real
catchy main theme), and perhaps Band of Brothers (HBO TV).
Keep up the good work.

Terrific website! You have the best online compilation of war movie posters,
stills and tracks I have ever seen. The sheer volume of Patton movie stills in
remarkable. I've been looking for the theme song of "A Bridge Too Far" for
20 years and finally found it on your site. Thanks!

Great site!! As a collector of war movie art and photos, and a military
history artist, I thoroughly enjoy exploring your site! By the way, do you,
(or anyone out there) remember a TV series a few years back, a Vietnam based
weekly story of a squad led by Terrence Knox? Theme was "Paint It Black"-Stones.

I grew up watching and listening to the music of 'Victory at Sea'.
It meant something special to me as both my parents were Navy veterans
of that war: my mother a pharmacist, my father a Navy corpsman with the
Marines [and landed on Iwn Jima with them]. Later on I went to fight my
own war with the Army: Desert Shield and Desert Storm. My mother did not
live to see me off to war. My father did. And was there for my return.
Becasue of that, we shared things on a level very few fathers and daughters
have. And some of his last words to me were "Your mother would have been proud.
"Thank you for bring back so many good memories.
